IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING PHISHING SCAM:
Recently an email message with the subject "Dear Daktel Webmail Account User” was sent to Dakota Central customers. This was a fraudulent message from a criminal hoping you would reply and give him your password.
If you have sent a reply to that phishing email from your email address and did in fact give them your password it is very important that you change your password immediately.
Notice that we are not asking for your password, nor do we want to give it to someone else. Dakota Central will never ask for your password in an email.
To change your email password log in to your webmail at https://mail.daktel.com , click on "Options" then "Change Password" . If you need assistance or would like us to reset your password you may call Dakota Central at (701)652-3184, (701)952-1000 or 1(800)771-0974 . You may verify those numbers by looking inside the front cover of your telephone directory.
If you did give out your password it is likely that person will hijack your email account to use to deliver spam or illegal content to other people. Please do not allow them do that.
